Terms & Conditions

  • All terms are per week (Sunday to Sunday) unless specified. (This may be changed for 2011)
  • A binding contract will exist once a deposit is paid.
  • Only those persons named on the booking form are entitled to stay in the accommodation, and the total number in your party shall not exceed the advertised capacity.
  • A non-returnable deposit of £100 is payable with each booking. The balance of the cost will be due 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your stay together with a returnable security deposit of £150 and all cheques should be made payable to Matthew Noble, alternatively the rental can be paid by bank transfer, details attached. The full amount is payable if less than 6 weeks between booking and holiday.
  • If, once, you have paid a deposit, you find that you have to cancel your booking, please notify us by telephone followed up with an immediate written confirmation of cancellation. The £100 initial deposit is non-returnable. If you have to cancel once you have paid the full cost we will do our utmost to re-let the accommodation in which case you will be returned the balance owing - 20% to cover administration costs. In the event that the accommodation cannot be re-let the full amount is payable. The £100 initial deposit is non-returnable but the security deposit is.
  • We advise you to take out insurance to cover any problems or cancellations.
  • The security deposit covers the cost of any damage or breakage's in or to the accommodation, along with any additional costs that may result - which are caused by you or your party. This deposit will be refunded to you within 28 days after the holiday as long as you or your party has not caused any damage or loss and the accommodation has been left clean and tidy.
  • Your accommodation is cleaned before your arrival and as a limited amount of time is available to clean between holidays, please leave it and its contents clean and tidy. Please see note above regarding charges for extra cleaning.
  • Your accommodation will be ready for you from 4 p.m. onwards on your start date. Please do not arrive any earlier. Please make sure that you leave by 10 a.m. on the day of departure.
  • Unfortunately pets are not allowed.
  • Gas and electricity are included in the cost of your holiday (except for the winter months where a £30 surcharge is charged per week) additional heating will incur an extra charge.
  • One hand towel, flannel and bath towel per person will be included together with bed linen and kitchen linen. Please ring your own beach or swimming towel to use at the many local lake and riverside beaches.
  • A travel cot, and high chair can be made available at no extra charge, but please ensure you mention when booking - we request that you provide bedding for the cot. There is a stair gate at the top of the stairs to the entrance hallway from the main living space.
  • We cannot accept bookings from anyone less than 18 years of age. Reservations for all young male or female parties will only be accepted at the owners' discretion.
  • Your vehicles and their accessories and contents are left entirely at your own risk as are all personal belongings left in the property.
  • For the convenience of our guests we operate a no smoking policy.
  • Please notify us of any shortcomings with your accommodation immediately so that action can be taken, we want you to really enjoy your stay.
  • We shall make every effort to rectify any faults or make repairs to equipment or services as soon as possible, should the need arise. We cannot however, be held responsible for any such breakdowns or loss.
  • If for any reason beyond the owners control (e.g. fire, flood damage) the property is not available for the date of the holiday booked, all rent and charges paid in advance by the customer will be refunded in full. The customer shall have no further claim against the owners.
  • We cannot accept liability for injury or loss of life to any person within the premises. Neither can we accept liability for loss or damage to any property or vehicle brought onto the premises. We recommend that the customer takes out his own private insurance as required.
  • Details of Grenier L'Archer are subject to change and improvements over time. We aim to keep our website and brochures as up-to-date as possible.
